In the spirit of my favorite things of Florence lately I would also like to encourage you to pick up a copy of the NO'ALA. It's a magazine dedicated to all things North Alabama. It's a bi-monthly magazine and can be picked up at most places around Florence. My friend Amy is now working for the magazine selling ads so she really turned me onto the magazine. I love it.
I love magazines in general. Picking up one, a cup of coffee or glass of sweet tea depending on my mood, and curling up in a comfy chair to flip through the glossy pages. I get such joy out of this. Some other favorite magazines: Vanity Fair-great articles and fantastic photographs, InStyle-the all in one magazine. fashion, home decor, celebrity gossip, beauty..its all there, and Southern Living-I'm from the South and a girl, of course I love this magazine.
Glossy pages....ahhh the simple joys in life.
