For those of you who are unaware
The West Wing is my favorite television show of all time. I started watching it in the 7th grade until it ended my senior year of high school. I cried when it ended. I did not cry at my high school graduation. I LOVE this show. Aaron Sorkin's writing is just amazing, Thomas Schlamme who directed many of the episodes and John Wells who produced it were an amazing team. The actors are supurb. It was like watching a movie every week, not a television show. The characters and the stories were so smart. I want to this day to be Claudia Jean Cregg. I've been obsessed with her since I was 13. That character made me want to live in Washington and work at the White House in the 7th grade. I am invested in this show. I have every season on DVD and season 1 is so worn out because I still get in the mood to just have a WW marathon. It's just the best kind of writing and story telling that will ever be out there.
This latest issue of
Entertainment Weekly pays tribute to iconic television cast by having some fun reunions. When I heard my favorite television show of all time was being depicted I couldn't have been more excited. .
So glad to see Josiah Bartlet with his silver hair back in action. Love this photo.
Then I found this
video on the EW website. A little catchup with some of
The West Wing's brilliant cast. Only dismay is that Rob Lowe and Richard Shift are missing, both tied up in new projects. Too bad. Rob Lowe is beautiful.
Just something that brightened up my day, miss my WW even after it being gone for almost 5 years. I need a reunion episode or something.
