Oh, T-Swift.

I have tried really hard not to like you. I mean, let’s be honest, it’s a little embarrassing to openly admit that I listen to your music. I often remind myself of all the reasons I shouldn’t love you: you don’t sound that great live, your life is way too dramatic, if I knew you I would be afraid to piss you off because you might write a song about me… I could go on.

But I can’t stop myself. I honestly cannot stop listening to your music. I own every single one of your CDs, and I probably know the words to every single song. How? They’re just that catchy! I cannot get your music out of my head. And you write it all! That, girl, is partly why I love you. You may have your boy drama {songs on the new album about John Mayer, Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, Adam Young of Owl City, AND Toby Hemingway?! I can’t keep up!}, but you sure do know how to turn it into some killer music.

It can be a little cutesy and overly romantic, but I actually kind of like that about it. You’re quirky and have some strange obsession with the number 13, but I feel like I know you. You write about your life, but in a way it becomes everyone’s life because it’s stuff that is relatable.

What I am trying to say is that I am really loving the new album {Speak Now}, even if I feel slightly juvenile admitting it. Hopefully, there are some more addicts out there willing to come clean. Taylor is mostly glitter and sparkle, but don’t we all need that from time to time? I guess I’ll love her forever & always {but not in the Joe Jonas kind of way}…
