lost weekend

This past weekend I decided to get out of town and go visit my best friend Brooke in Starkville. Brooke's been my best friend since daycare, literally. We went to Kid Comapny Daycare together and then we were Calvary Kids together. We parted ways for schooling until 7th grade but still remained close friends. We didn't actually have a class together until 11th grade AP American History. Through all that separation we still remained bffs.
Brooke is the friend that will always be a part of my family. She's been on vacation with us, laughed with us, joked with us, and made herself at home when we aren't even there. She's "that" friend that I hope everyone has in their life. The best friend that even if your separated for a long period of time, once your reunited everything falls back into place. The best kind of friend.

Since Brooke and I were separated for college, we always made it a point to visit and go on mini trips together to stay in touch. When Christmas holiday's come around we are together 24/7, soaking up as much time as possible. Freshman year we went to the Memphis Zoo during our Fall break, she came to Florence for my birthday with my parents, and I've been Starkville many times.

This weekend was one of those trips. Many of her Kappa Delta sisters were going to be in town as well so I had a blast hanging out with them as well. All in all a fabulous spur of the moment weekend.

Very fun weekend. Can't wait to do it again.
