Well since this weekend my time at home has been:
FINALLY seeing this with dad on a rainy Tuesday afternoon
watching my first full episode of American Idol for this season...OMG that 16 year old Jessica seriously is the best person I think that has EVER been on Idol. Wow. Seriously she's amazing. This from Wednesday night was literally jaw dropping.
having play time with this guy and enjoying K's flowers
ahhh I've missed "driving in for a change"

Got a little haircut. I don't really think I enjoy many more things as much as I enjoy having my hair shampooed and blow dryed at the beauty shop.
And I say beauty shop, because that's what it is. I've been going to Head Over Heals Salon since I was in the 8th grade. Those women have known me through a lot and they are fabulous. I love going in there because it's a true southern shop full of gossip and life chats.
Friday, I enjoyed a great 2 hr lunch and life chat with this girl
Love my Anna Claire. Every time I come home and have the pleasure of catching up with my hometown friends I feel so blessed to have grown up with such AMAZING people. Seriously, Tupelo produces some good ones. I am so fortunate to have such caring and genuine friends who I've known from the elementary school playground to the senior trip to Paris to college holiday break get-togethers and now real world life catch ups. Seriously, I'm SOOOOOO LUCKY! Anna Claire is now living in Nashville and just finished her first year of Speech Pathology school. I loved hearing how passionate she was about her future career, and how interested she was in what my future plans. My hometown friends are life cheerleaders like no one else. I don't think most people have such interested friends in their life...I have many, many of them. I remember my 12th grade AP English teacher Mrs. Milton talking about how she was so impressed with how much our grade loved, supported, and routed for each other. It's true. We do. Even now.
Tomorrow is the annual TUPELO GUM TREE FESTIVAL. Dad is running the 10K so we will be up bright and early to cheer him on!
