Today.....

Today I seriously read the February issue of Vanity Fair ALL.DAY.LONG. It took me all day. I feel so much more informed when I read Vanity Fair. If you know me, you know this is my favorite magazine. I discovered it in high school and have been a faithful obsessive ever since. I think of Vanity Fair as all things I love wrapped up in one glossy, perfume smelling package. I know it would be cheaper to get a subscription, but I've still never done it and I could get it on my iPad for even cheaper, but I love those glossy pages AND those perfume samples wafting out as I read.

As in most months when I read, this month I found myself going "I've never even heard of this" or "I feel so uneducated" or "I'm super unsophisticated" basically Vanity Fair is the me, I wish I actually was, but am not rich enough or smart enough or cultured enough to actually be. Vanity Fair is the magazine version of my Pinterest boards. My intention today was not to read the magazine ALL.DAY.LONG. but I had to get my car worked on for 2hrs, stay out of my house for another 2hrs, and then I was just so invested I wanted to finish the thing.

Maybe it was a wasted day, but it was enjoyed and knowledge was gained. Doesn't that make it okay?
