new obsessions

I have been away for a while so here is an update on my new obsessions:

Nail Polish
I've never been one to really make sure my nails are painted just pedicures for the summer months and that's about it. Not anymore. I am a nail polish addict.  I love finding new colors. I am also experimenting with painting my fingernails.  I know you are thinking...WHAT? My whole life I couldn't stand to have my fingernails painted, something about it just unsettled me {weird quirk, I know} I'm quite liking it now. Makes me feel real girlie.  I'm really into neutrals right now. Right now I'm wearing Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey! by OPI. goes with everything.

Starbucks Ice Coffee w/ Milk
It's only 120 calories and it's real cheap when it comes to designer coffee. Check it out. I have to think Claire for this discovery.  Her tweets struck my curiosity. You can also buy the mix at Wal-Mart.  Just make a glass of ice water and add the mix. Yummy.

MyFitnessPal app
I've started a journey of trying to be more fit. This app is the best thing and it's free. It helps you count calories, keep up with your workouts, and connect with friends for encouragement.  I'm a little too in to it sometimes.  I am constantly checking to see how many calories are in something...helps make you very conscious of what you are eating.
Reality Shows
Yes, I know I have always been the queen of television always, but since the move home I have become a lover of some new shows.  I'm back on the American Idol bandwagon, but I have two others I have added to my viewing list.  Celebrity Apprentice and Biggest Loser.  Celebrity Apprentice is insane and if LaToya Jackson doesn't leave soon I don't know what I will do.  This show offers up more drama and catfights than any episode of The Bachelor/Bachelorette ever thought about.  Way to many egos in the room for drama not to unfold.  Loving it. Marlee Matlin and NeNe Leakes are my top pics.  Biggest Loser is so inspirational. I get so emotionally involved with these people and when I know they are making the wrong choices I get so mad because I want them to do well.  I'm sad that my favorite girl Courtney went home last week, but I'm still rooting for my girls Hannah, Oliva, and Irene.  These people are champs, and I so look forward to their progress every week.
