I woke up yesterday with the full intentions of doing absolutely nothing, but while I was checking e-mails I was gchatting with my friend
Christa . She and MV were thinking about going to the Nationals game, and invited me to join them since I had never been. I, of course, accepted and immediately got ready to head in to DC for the game.
I met Christa and MV down at Navy Yard, and we first headed to the Opening Weekend Block Party. Then grabbed a bite to eat at Pot Bellys and went back to Christa's apartment for a little downtime before walking over to the game. I wanted to show true fan support for the team so MV let me borrow his Nat's cap for my first Nationals experience! We took full advantage of the ball park and enjoyed some cheese fries from the Shake Shack The Nats beat the Cincinnati Reds 4-1! I can't wait to go to more games. I had so much fun!
