Day 4: Bakersfield to Las Vegas

We headed out of Bakersfield after a yummy breakfast at the hotel restuarant. The drive to Vegas was about 5 hrs and the scenery consisted of this:
And then you hit the bright lights of Vegas.  This town really is in the middle of nowhere.  You drive for miles and miles with nothing and then there it is all lit up.
After we got into the city, the first thing we did was stop by Caesar's Palace to pick up our tickets for Celine that night. After that we headed to check into our hotel.  We stayed at the Four Seasons. It was super nice, and since it didn't have a casino in the hotel was very quiet. It was connected to Mandalay Bay, and there was a shuttle that would connect you down the strip to a few of the hotels.  After we checked in and unloaded everything Bayley and I got ready for CELINE! This was probably what I was most excited for on the trip. I LOVE Celine Dion. Ever since I was in the 3rd grade I've been belting out all of her cds.  We took a cab to Casear's Palace and walked around before the show:
gift shop where I bought my black t-shirt with Celine's face on the front

The show was FANTASTIC!! You can't take pictures inside the Colosseum so I don't have any pictures of the great CELINE, but it was kind of nice not to have the pressure of taking pictures.  I just rejoiced in the moment.  Bayley and I were literally on the edge of our seats the entire time {and our seats were AMAZING} She put on such a great show. I was shaking from excitment the entire time. I just LOVE Celine. After the show John came and met us at Casear's Palace. We walked around for a bit, in search of food. Bayley and I hadn't eaten since breakfast...we were STARVING. We got a burger at the little food court.

After we ate we walked outside to see some of the city at night. We walked next door to the Bellagio and caught the fountain show. It was beautiful.

Day 4 was definitely a SUPER fun day! ahhh...the power of CELINE!
